Sally started playing at the age of eleven at the Berkshire Young Musician's Trust. She attended the Royal Northern College of Music where she studied with Jonathon Small and Thomas Davey (cor anglais), graduating in 1997. Overseas tours have taken her to Japan, Italy and France. She is also a member of the Ash Grove ensemble who work for the charity 'Music in Hospitals'. In 2006 they will spend two weeks in Guernsey performing 30 concerts for the elderly and infirm, hospital patients and people with learning disabilities. Sally teaches
and freelances with orchestras in and around the North-West, with the
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia and others. |
